We’re all made up of stories. Each one of us a unique collection of experiences and ideas. Thoughts and memories. Pains and passions. It is the love we feel, the love we experience – whether expressing it or having it expressed to us – that helps guide our story. It’s the love we feel for things and people that motivate our desires and help us choose our path. It’s the love we’re shown that helps us believe in ourselves and become who we are. It’s the love that exists between us and the people whose stories intertwine with our own that help us understand and respond to the world around us. Without love – without passions and motivations and potential for heartache – our stories wouldn’t be very meaningful, now would they?
If Only There Were Love

I desire to inspire hope
With sentences I fight to find
While my mind unwinds
With no idea what to say
So I’m doing my best by writing
What I wish I knew how to write
Trying to Write a Poem

The rain fell fast but calmly. Physis looked at the trees around him, water dripping from the leaves. His dirty-blonde hair and his white and green tunic were soaked. The rain ran down his face, into his observant green eyes, and then further down to where his mouth curved up in a smile. As the Greek demi-god of nature, Physis always loved the outdoors. He felt at home here in the woods, and the rain filled his soul with enthusiasm.
